SAFETY & SECURITY: WHAT TO EXPECT
To maintain a secure and smooth experience, we implement a range of protective measures:
At Entry:

All bags are subject to inspection

Metal detectors (walkthrough or handheld) may be in use

Security teams will check badges and tickets

Please allow extra time for these procedures, especially during peak hours
On-Site Safety:

You’ll notice both uniformed and plainclothes security

Surveillance cameras (CCTV) will monitor event areas

Police may be present for added safety

Emergency medical personnel are stationed on-site and ready to assist
Identification:

Event badges must be worn at all times inside the venue

Have a valid photo ID on you at all times

Lost credentials? Report to registration immediately
Keep in Mind:

Don’t leave personal belongings unattended

We are not responsible for lost or stolen property

If you see something suspicious, say something — notify event staff or security
WHAT’S NOT ALLOWED
To keep the event safe and enjoyable, please avoid the following behaviors and items:
Banned Behavior:

Blocking walkways, entrances, or exits
-
Running indoors or pushing through lines
-
Line cutting or holding spots for others
-
Ignoring staff directions or posted signage
-
Unauthorized access to restricted areas
-
Harassment, threats, or physical altercations
Prohibited Items:
-
Real weapons, including firearms, knives, and ammunition
-
Fireworks, explosives, or open flames
-
Balloons, folding chairs, or oversized strollers (over 31” x 52”)
-
Vape pens, marijuana, and all smoking devices
-
Outside food or drinks
-
Alcohol outside of designated serving areas
Note: Alcohol is only permitted for those 21+ in approved locations.
PROP WEAPONS & COSPLAY SAFETY
We love your cosplay — but safety comes first.

All props must be inspected and approved by security before entering the event

Allowed: Foam weapons, plastic props, toy guns with visible orange tips

Prohibited: Metal, wooden, or real-looking weapon replicas
-
Any unapproved or unsafe items may be confiscated
CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS
We’re dedicated to building a friendly and respectful community. All attendees are expected to treat others with kindness and consideration.
General Code of Conduct:

Respect personal space — ask before touching or photographing someone

Avoid disruptive behavior during panels, signings, or screenings

Follow all venue rules and directions from staff

Clean up after yourself and use trash bins

Harassment is Never Tolerated:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for:

Verbal abuse or threats

Stalking or intimidation

Unwanted touching or attention
-
Harassing photos or videos
-
Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory behavior

Sexual language, gestures, or inappropriate attire

Disruption of scheduled events or guest sessions

Policing of restroom use or gender expression
This includes any mistreatment based on race, gender, orientation, identity, disability, religion, age, or appearance.
Violators will be removed from the event without refund. If you’re made uncomfortable, or witness something inappropriate, report it immediately to a staff member or security.
DIGITAL BEHAVIOR & PRIVACY
Respect each other both in person and online:

Do not attempt to collect or share anyone’s private information without permission

Avoid recording or streaming panels unless explicitly allowed

Always ask before photographing or tagging someone on social media
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Your health matters. Please take care of yourself and those around you.
Before Attending:

Do not come to the event if you’re feeling sick

Be familiar with CDC health guidelines
-
Masks and vaccination are not required but are welcomed
⚠️You’re not experiencing symptoms of illness

You haven’t been in recent contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19
-
You understand and accept any health risks of attending a public event
MEDICAL & EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
Need help? Visit the First Aid station or speak with a staff member or security. EMTs are available on-site to respond to medical issues quickly and professionally.
ACCESSIBILITY & INCLUSION
We’re committed to ensuring our events are accessible to all.
Accessibility Wristbands Provide:

Priority access for photo ops and autographs

Reserved panel seating

Use of VIP entrances (excluding VIP benefits)
Each person with an accessibility wristband may bring one assistant with a paid ticket.

SENSORY-FRIENDLY OPTIONS
